💧 Why should I have my windows professionally cleaned?
Regular window cleaning doesn’t just make your home or business look better — it also protects your windows. We use a safe cleaning solution and proven tools that break down dirt and grime from minerals found in rain and sprinkler systems.
🧼 Can you remove hard water stains?
Hard water stains are caused by minerals like calcium and iron etching themselves into the glass over time. If these deposits are caught early enough, we may be able to remove all of it. After they have etched the glass, they will remain visible unless glass restoration is performed. Unfortunately we do not currently offer glass restoration services, but we may have some great recommendations. Just ask us!

🏡 How should I prepare before your team arrives?
We are able to provide competitive pricing by saving time if you:

Raise all blinds to the top if you are getting your interior windows cleaned

Move restricting or fragile items away from windows, ledges, etc

You can avoid a small $2 per window fee by removing and replacing your window screens if you’re not having them cleaned, otherwise we would absolutely be happy to remove and replace them for you!
🚪 Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
As long as we have access to the necessary areas and any gates are unlocked, we can complete the job strictly from the outside if you are only having your exterior windows cleaned. The only exception to this, is if you have security window screens that need to be unclipped/unlocked from the inside. We’ll leave everything just as we found it. If you are getting your interior windows cleaned, we do need access to the inside of your home or business, but you can provide a key or door code if necessary in circumstances where you're not able to be present.
💳 What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept check, cash, credit, debit, and Venmo. Payment is not due until the day of service.
🌦️ What happens during severe weather?
For safety and quality reasons, we may need to reschedule your appointment if the weather isn’t cooperating. This includes conditions like rain, snow, temperatures below freezing, or extreme summer heat. In freezing conditions, our solution can freeze on the glass, leaving less than desirable results. In extremely hot weather, our solution may evaporate too quickly on your windows causing difficult streaks, and extreme summer heat can pose a health risk to our team members. We will make every effort to reschedule your visit to the next available appointment day. Thank you for your understanding!
❌ Do you have a cancellation policy?
We don’t charge a fee for cancellations, but we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice so we can adjust our schedule accordingly! Please cancel your appointment by texting 302-448-TREX (8739)
🛡️ Are you insured?
Absolutely! Squeegee Rex is fully insured, and we’ll gladly provide proof of insurance upon request. Your peace of mind is important to us!
