💧 Why should I have my windows professionally cleaned?

Regular window cleaning doesn’t just make your home or business look better — it also protects your windows. We use a professional-grade, biodegradable cleaning solution that breaks down dirt and grime while forming a barrier against minerals and chemicals found in rain and sprinkler systems.

🧼 Can you remove hard water stains?

Hard water stains are caused by minerals like calcium and iron etching themselves into the glass over time. If these deposits are caught early enough, we may be able to remove most of them. After they have etched the glass, they will remain visible unless glass restoration is performed. We have a few great recommendations if you require this service!

🛠️ What tools and materials do you use?

We only use professional-grade tools to get the job done right:

  • Soft strip washers for soaking and scrubbing

  • Scrapers with new blades

  • Biodegradable window cleaning solution

  • A variety of squeegees with fresh rubber blades

  • Lint-free towels for perfect finishing​​

🏡 How should I prepare before your team arrives?

We are able to provide competitive pricing by saving time if you:

  • Raise all blinds to the top if you are getting your interior windows cleaned

  • Move restricting items away from windows, ledges, etc

  • You can avoid a small $2 per window fee by removing screens if you’re not having them cleaned, otherwise we would be happy to remove them for you!

🚪 Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

As long as we have access to the necessary areas and any gates are unlocked, we can complete the job strictly from the outside. We’ll leave everything just as we found it — except your windows will be sparkling clean! If you are getting your interior windows cleaned, we do need access to the inside of your home or business, but you can provide a key or door code in circumstances where you're not able to be present.

💳 What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit, debit, cash, and Venmo. Payment is due on the day of service.

🌦️ What happens during severe weather?

For safety and quality reasons, we may need to reschedule your appointment if the weather isn’t cooperating. This includes conditions like rain, snow, temperatures below freezing, or extreme heat over 90°F. In freezing conditions, our solution can freeze on the glass. In extremely hot weather, our solution may evaporate too quickly or pose a health risk to our team members. Thank you for your understanding!

❌ Do you have a cancellation policy?

We don’t charge a fee for cancellations, but we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice so we can adjust our schedule accordingly! Please cancel your appointment by texting 302-448-TREX (8739)

🛡️ Are you insured?

Absolutely! Squeegee Rex is fully insured, and we’ll gladly provide proof of insurance upon request. Your peace of mind is important to us!
